About
the program: Our Instructors will teach
small classes in Figure Skating or Ice Hockey, both Children and
Adults for periods
of 30 minutes, with skaters being taught
simple, easy to learn moves from the
U.S.
FIGURE SKATING BASIC SKILLS PROGRAM
which is now
recognized as one of the finest programs available anywhere and
the very best way to have fun, learn to skate in the safest
possible way.
The well design curriculum
and objectives are a perfect match with your own goals:

Improving skills through
levels which will enhance confidence and satisfaction at
each step.

To build a solid foundation
which will serve YOU well in the future if you decide to
pursue either
Figure Skating
or
Ice Hockey
more seriously.

The 8 Lessons are held on
Wednesday from: 5:10pm - 5:40pm or Saturday from 11:50am - to
12:20pm and
Public Skating is
before Class on WED from 3:00-5:00pm and SAT after class
from 12:20pm - 2:00pm

USFSA MEMBERSHIP
In order to participate in Group
Lesson, student must be a member of the USFSA
Annual fee is
$15.00 from 7/1 - to 6/30 |
REGISTRATION
Must register for class before starting date.
You can register
two weeks ahead MON -FRI 9:00am-5:00pm , SAT
7:30am-2:00pm |

REGISTRATION FEE
New enrollment is 110.00 and $1500 for yearly USFA Membership
from July 1 to Jun 30. If you pre-register for consecutive
RE-enrollment, must be before the first day of class,
the FEE is 100.00, payable in full at the time of
registration. The Fee includes; admission to the rink,
instruction from our Staff of professional skaters, all course
material, 3rd party liability insurance. |

RENTAL SKATES
are included at no charge, however
your own skates will make your skating far more enjoyable. In
any event, skates should fit snug and be laced firm right to the
top which will provide the necessary support for you to
really enjoy your skating experience |
What to wear
A
pair of gloves, dress warm and comfortable "no long coats",
Hat's or ear warmers optional.
Skating apparel always available
at the
Vic's Pro Shop
at the Ice Rink. |
A final Note
Classes will of course re-scheduled if the rink is closed for
any reason during the 8 weeks enrollment .
The Skating Edge Ice
Arena is offering for current enrolled students a discount for
Public skating for $6.00, including skate rental. |

SNOWPLOW
SAM 1-3
Learn from sit and stand up on and off ice,
including march, dips, swizzles, wiggles and stops. |

BASIC 1-8
Eight levels allowing skater to be comfortable
skating on ice. Basic skating techniques is needed to advance
into any of
the areas of the Basic Skills Program. |

FREESKATE
1-6
Upon completion of Basic 1 – 8, skaters learn
advanced forward stroking, waltz-jump, half flip, other
jumps,
spins, footwork, and other athletic and artistic moves.

ADULT CLASS
Is held on WED only. You can come as a drop in any
Wednesday. Cost is $20.00. |

HOCKEY 1-4
Must have hockey skates:
Learning basics ice hockey skills, introducing to power skating. Should
come in hockey gears.
